Women’s Mescal SMBA Trail Spotlight: Local lines with SMBA Instructors
Looking to ride one of Sedona’s most iconic trails? Eager to follow a local and increase your confidence? Wanting to up your toolkit of skills so that you can explore more of Sedona? This event is for you!
Join Amo, a level 3 BICP Instructor for a 2 session trail and skills clinic. The 2 hour morning session will be at the Sedona Bike Park where we will break down the proper climbing and descending techniques needed to clean Mescal trail. Our instructors know every move on that trail and will practice these maneuvers in a fun, safe and controlled environment.
At noon, all riders will have a 1 hour lunch break together catered by one of our favorite local Sedona lunch spots. Connect with other like minded female riders and talk about life on and off the bike.
For the afternoon session, all riders will take on Mescal trail out in West Sedona. Alternative line choices will be explored to match each riders progression as well as safely push each participants limits. Proper technique and body position is key to unlocking the crux moves on these trails. Having a certified instructor at your side to offer personalized feedback will allow you to see these moves in a different light.

2 hour skill session at the Sedona Bike Park
1 hour catered lunch with the instructor and fellow ladies
2 hour trail ride in West Sedona focusing on Mescal
Group size is caped at 6 riders (5:1 instructor student ratio or less)
